			What is the recovery period after treatment? Since E.S.W.T. is a non-invasive procedure, there is no recovery period. Patients may return to work the very next day following the therapy. The results can be immediate or it may take up to 6 weeks for pain relief to begin. It is advised to have your patients restrict themselves from any heavy lifting or rigorous sport activities for at least 4 weeks.
